Business Services are priced at set rates as indicated on the Business Services menu.
Accounting and Taxation Services are priced on an hourly basis. Hourly rates vary from $60 - $200, depending on who is doing your work, and the skill level required to complete it - $60 being basic administrative work and $200 being specialized high-level work.
While we do not issue quotes before completing accounting and taxation work, we do know that it is helpful to be able to budget ahead for your regular outgoings, such as GST and PAYE returns. To assist you in this, we have introduced a ‘sliding scale’ fixed-price model for GST and PAYE returns, based on 3 simple things:
- number of normal transactions (for GST returns, this will be Banklink transactions – for PAYE, this will apply to clients using our payroll services)
- number of manual transactions (for GST returns, this will be cash receipts, visa transactions and other manual entry items – for PAYE, this will apply to clients not using our payroll services)
- ease of communication (the easier it is for us to get in touch with you, to answer questions and sign the return off, the faster the return is completed)
For new clients, the first GST return we do for you, will cost no more than $200+GST.
After completing your first GST return, we should have your general ledger setup and a good idea of the complexity involved. At this point, we can give you an estimate for what future returns will cost, based on our ‘sliding-scale’ principles above.
For new clients the first PAYE return we do for you, will cost no more than $100+GST.
Exceptions to the above, would apply to very high-transaction businesses. We would have to charge more if our time spent on the initial returns, was significantly more than estimated.
